Lifting for length


Work out anywhere, anytime with Lifting for Length, a program that integrates weight lifting exercises and active flexibility drills. This combination makes it possible to increase strength and flexibility at the same time  - no more sacrificing one for the other. I designed this program as strength building and cross-training for your primary discipline or apparatus, so the workouts clock in at well under an hour 3-5 days a week and serve as excellent warmups for flexibility and contortion training.⁣ This program is for both hypermobile and non-hypermobile individuals, can be done at a gym or at home (even if you don't own weights), and is accessible to my fellow lifters as well as those with zero lifting experience.

I have always loved working with Jessie but I LOVE the Splits Strength program because I can do so ANY TIME! The structure of Jessie’s program helped me find what I needed in a weightlifting program - there is always room to adapt, based on how you’re feeling that day, and the progression of the workouts enables you to find the weight that challenges you for the exercise. Being able to upload videos holds me accountable and makes it so much easier to compare exercises and progress - the organization factor is a big draw for me 👌🏽 I love the exercise videos and the sweet timer/stopwatch functions in-app, too.

I’ve seen amazing strength gains since starting, even with some rocky weeks. Adding weightlifting helped me find stability in my hips and low core that helps me aerials and contort better! And I aaaallwwaayssss appreciate that I get feedback on form ASAP!!!!! Thanks for a great program, Jessie 😊

I got to start experimenting with Lifting for Length during a very interesting time physically - my first pregnancy. The programming is manageable on a busy schedule, adaptable, and forgiving.

I don’t feel like the best student because of intermittent exhaustion, but whenever I am up for a workout Jessie is there with totally non-judgmental and encouraging feedback. He also has tons of ideas for substitutions or ways to adapt the existing exercises to my changing body, and the TrueCoach app makes it easy for me to input and track my progress even though it is different than the assigned programming!

I absolutely encourage people on the fence to give it a try. If you aren’t sure of your ability to keep up, whether due to schedule, chronic pain/illness, or other, I can assure you Jessie’s program is always a joy to come back to even if you want/need to cherry pick or take more rest days than assigned.

Lifting for Length helped me figure out what it really feels like to activate and strengthen the muscles I need for splits without over engaging or compensating with other muscles. The program is really approachable and the exercises are easy to understand. I usually leave workout programs after about a week, but found this one easy to sustain over an extended period of time.

I have been enjoying this program immensely since starting it! My body is not a naturally bendy one, but it loves getting stronger, so Jessie's program was the perfect fit for me! The exercises are well explained, and the app makes the program easy to follow. Adding more weightlifting to my flexibility training improved my passive range, strengthened my low core and hamstrings, and allowed me more stability and way less pain while stretching. I highly recommend this program to anyone who struggles with finding the motivation to stretch, or who struggles with passive stretching.
